CERTIFICATES OFFERED

Students may earn a One-Year Certificate in Biblical Studies at Maranatha Christian College. The certificate is awarded to students auditing 30 Hours of supervised, structured Biblical Studies. All audit work must be completed within a five-year period and there will be no earned credits toward any diploma or degree program.

DEGREES OFFERED

Students may earn a One-Year Diploma in Biblical Studies at Maranatha Christian College. The diploma is awarded to students completing 30 Hours of supervised, structured Biblical Studies. All course work must be completed within a five-year period to avoid the loss of earned credits. Students who have earned a Diploma may be eligible to continue their training towards an Associate Degree.

Students also may earn an Associate Degree in Biblical Studies at Maranatha Christian College. The Associate Degree is awarded to students completing 60 Hours of supervised, structured Biblical Studies. All course work must be completed within a five-year period to avoid the loss of earned credits. Students who have earned an Associate Degree may be eligible to continue their training towards a Bachelors Degree.

Ultimately, students at Maranatha Christian College may earn the Bachelors Degree. The Bachelors Degree is awarded to students who have completed 60 Hours of supervised, structured Biblical Studies and a major in one of the following disciplines:

• Theology

• General Ministry

• Religious Education

All course work must be completed within a seven-year period to avoid the loss of earned credits. Students who have earned a Bachelors Degree may be eligible to enter the graduate (Seminary) program.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE BACHELORS DEGREE

To earn a Bachelors Degree at MCC, all students must:

1. Complete a total of 120 semester hours.

2. Complete the Biblical Studies General Education program requirements.

3. Complete a Christian Professional Development curriculum. (MCC graduates complete at least one major and may complete more than one major.)

4. File an Application for Degree with the Registrar's Office at least one year in advance of the expected graduation date.

5. Have a cumulative academic average of at least 2.5 on courses completed at MCC.
